enabling conservation leadership in an

About the Program

Conservation Proficiency Course

The Sally Walker Centre has established a Training-cum-Internship Programme for emerging conservation practitioners. This programme builds upon the successful model of the Ram Hattikudur Advanced Training in Conservation (RHATC) but expands its reach and scope.

Each year, the program will host 10 core Fellows, similar to the RHATC fellowship model for the year as trainee interns. This is called the Conservation Proficiency Course.
