Hands - On - Trainings
The Sally Walker Centre for 3Cs conducts a series of Hands-on Training Workshops (HOT) throughout the year, designed to build the professional skills needed to drive effective conservation action. These workshops are both theory and field-based learning experiences that equip participants with practical tools, real-world exposure, and a deeper understanding of conservation challenges and solutions.
The HOT workshops are 3-5 day training events on various technical skills such as taxonomy, field techniques, GIS, research and publication ethics, education and outreach techniques, IUCN Red Listing, conservation translocation, ecological restoration etc.
